The Truth About Cars is an automotive blog with teeth. As you'd expect, it reviews cars — in an unflinchingly critical manner. Test drives of new rides are just part of the story. The site is about the car business in its entirety, including the bailout, the rise of Chinese manufacturers, cheesy sales tactics and much more. It also shows a keen sense of history in items like a post on the U.S.'s Memorial Day holiday about the big Three's work during World War II. It's a fine example of a basic fact about blogging: the best way to show you love a topic isn't to write it a love letter but to treat it in an uncompromising manner.
