The Trip
Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon, the finest mismatched comedy pair since Laurel and Hardy, spend a week together sampling fine restaurants in the north of England in this semi-improv, semi-true road movie, directed by Michael Winterbottom and boiled down to feature length from a six-part BBC series. The drollery is sublime — idle badinage raised to a comic art. 6/10 (Limited)
