She may not travel as much as she used to, but the peripatetic New Yorker staff writer and author of The Orchid Thief still tweets up a storm. Most of her posts are replies to friends and followers, but the conversations themselves are worth dipping into. Most interesting is watching the effort put into her current work in progress, a biography of dog actor Rin Tin Tin: the writing, the editing, the revising and (fingers crossed) the eagerly awaited first edition.
