Call them the odd couple, but Harry Reid found an ally in Lady Gaga on Twitter during his fight to repeal the military's "Don't ask, don't tell" policy against openly gay service members in December 2010. The two tweeted at each other throughout the measure's debate, as Gaga urged her fans to call and lobby Reid for the law's repeal. Those repeated missives brought the Senator national attention from a new crowd.
