Ewoks
The Ewoks, everyone's favorite insurgent teddy bears, live in the forests of the moon world of Endor. The chirpy little fellas star in Return of the Jedi, in which they help the Star Wars trilogy's Rebels triumph over the world-destroying schemes of the Empire. With the films' main characters all sent to Endor to shut down a strategic imperial shield generator — who was the imperial apparatchik who thought it a good idea to hide said generator on a moon full of spear-chucking fur-pygmies? — the unlikely Ewoks come to their aid. The movie's climax is an immortal clash between cuddly and clunky, the Ewoks taking down the Empire's terrifying war machines with stones, traps and a whole lot of spirit.
