He's a con man, a philanderer, a liar and a drunk. His only goal at Christmas is to rob the department store where he and his buddy work as Santa Claus and his helper. Most of the movie is the polar opposite of the spirit of Christmas. It's full of lawbreaking and taking the Lord's name in vain. (We're talking incessant profanity.) But, as in just about every holiday movie, the trouble-making Santa (Billy Bob Thornton) ends up learning the true nature of Christmas after he befriends a little boy who's also in need of some guidance.
