The man is back, though it's likely his ego never went away. After winning widespread disapproval when he jumped on stage and interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards last year, West took a break from the spotlight. (After all, it's not every day the president of the United States calls you a "jackass.") He canceled a tour and went to work on his fifth album, parts of which we began to hear earlier this year. And soon we were hearing a lot from the irrepressible hip hop star — thanks to Twitter. Kanye's ridiculous nonstop tweeting garnered him more than 1.5 million followers, even before the release of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Of course, as someone particularly prone to controversy, he'll probably be making many more comebacks in the future.
