Sarah Palin's new reality show on TLC shows yet again how the former Alaska governor and vice-presidential candidate expertly walks the line between politics and celebrity. Though the network claims the show is simply an insider's look at Alaska and not a political platform, others have called the program one very long campaign ad for Palin's potential 2012 presidential bid. Either way, seeing the mountain-climbing, rifle-wielding, fishing, snowshoeing Mama Grizzly in her natural habitat is an appealing concept to Palin supporters and mockers alike, so much so that the Nov. 14 premiere garnered nearly 5 million viewers.
