Sesame Street wasn't the only kids' show to hit a bumpy patch this year. Nickelodeon got some bad headlines when it got into a legal tussle with Caitlin Sanchez, the 14-year-old voice of the hit cartoon, Dora the Explorer. Sanchez's family and lawyer claimed she was duped into signing an unfair contract and then gave her the heave-ho when she complained. Nickelodeon claimed it had paid her more than $300,000 and had fired her because she got too old for the role. Luckily, Dora's fans are too young to notice that the grownups are fighting.
