Vienna Girardi v. Jake Pavelka
Jake Pavelka, star of the 14th season of The Bachelor, chose Vienna Girardi as his leading lady, but their love quickly evaporated and soon they were trashing each other on TV. In a reunion video in July, Vienna called him a "fame whore" and "the biggest liar I've ever met in my life." Jake struck back, saying "She's like a tabloid. You get 40 percent of the truth." After they aired their grievances in public, it was impossible to figure out who first lobbied for the split. But although reality-TV fans loved all the bitterness, by November some civility had returned, with Vienna saying she was "happy" Jake had found a new girl.
