Kanye West, Sort Of, to President Bush, for Calling Him a Racist

During one of the fundraising concerts after Hurricane Katrina, Kanye West, always a dangerous man when he has a mike in his hands, said President George W. Bush didn't "care about black people." Fast-forward five years and West's latest album release coincided with Bush's memoir tour, during which he talked about being called a racist as one of the lowest points of his presidency. During an interview, NBC's Matt Lauer played West a tape of Bush looking all hurt, and West admitted that he didn't feel great about calling the man names. Bush, upon hearing this, said he appreciated it. West then tweeted that he felt hounded into saying sorry. (Lauer, while playing the tape, had told West, "Don't even listen. I want you to look at [Bush's] face.") Ah, showbiz.
