Greenmarkets, gardens and small farms are the holy trinity of the eat-local movement, which is gaining steam across the U.S. Maybe not everything you eat can originate within 50 miles of your home or restaurant Bostonians like strawberries too! but the days of not caring where your food comes from seem to be on the wane. (See previous item about Michael Mina.) At the very least, Americans are coming to appreciate the fact that food doesn't start at the supermarket. And supermarkets are learning it as well.
