Baijiu

The Chinese have been making baijiu — "white liquor" — for thousands of years. While it's big in China, many foreigners aren't particularly fond of the powerful grain alcohol. And that's not even taking into account the version that's infused with snake or the essences of other preserved creatures, from reptiles to dried seahorses. Medicinal or not, the clear spirit can be a tough thing to swallow.
