Gordon Ramsay is a relentless beast. The celebrity chef presides over a sprawling business empire that boasts numerous cooking shows, over a dozen recipe books and a host of Michelin-starred restaurants. But when not feuding with other culinary impresarios he has sparred with Mario Batali in the past Ramsay has stormed through the kitchens of subpar restaurants in Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, leaving a trail of hurt feelings and discarded entrees in his wake. Ramsay is notorious for his abrasive manner and penchant for profanity. Like a Simon Cowell with an apron, he crossed the pond and has starred in a range of reality cooking shows, like Hell's Kitchen and MasterChef. In the above clip from an earlier BBC show, Boiling Point, he loses his cool with a few mute, meek sous-chefs. What makes this sort of bullying even more off-putting? That he's probably playing it up for the camera.
