Reached at his Manhattan home the morning after Yom Kippur, Elie Wiesel learns he's won the Nobel Peace Prize. In addition to his writings on the Holocaust, the Auschwitz survivor has organized conferences on Cambodia, Africa's children and Central American Indians. Of the Nobel, he says, "It gives you a better loudspeaker."
