As archaic as it seems, Dr. Philippe-Guy Woog's corded electric toothbrush, the Broxodent, was far superior to the battery-powered GE Automatic Toothbrush that was released in the early '60s. Woog's design was lighter and didn't need to be thrown out when the batteries failed to recharge. Purchased as a convenience today, the Broxodent was invented to aid those with poor motor skills.
