Motorola PageWriter 2000

Three years before RIM released the first BlackBerry, Motorola had the PageWriter 2000, a device that could send and receive messages. It wasn't the first two-way pager — that honor belongs to the Motorola Tango, which was introduced in 1995 — but the PageWriter featured a 47-key QWERTY keyboard and could even transmit faxes and e-mails.
