François Truffaut's 1962 film Jules et Jim is a story of two men Jules and Jim who share an interest in art, culture and a woman named Catherine. Catherine marries Jules, but the couple isn't happy and for a while she seems to have abandoned her husband in favor of Jim. Jules is relatively O.K. with this development (what can we say? they're French) and for a while all three lovers live together as Catherine jumps back and forth between them.
