George Harrison, Eric Clapton and Pattie Boyd

Pattie Boyd must have been one special woman. She's the inspiration for George Harrison's Beatles song "Something" and Eric Clapton's "Layla." In 1964, Boyd was a 19-year-old model when she met Harrison on the set of the Beatles' film A Hard Day's Night. They married in 1966 but split up in 1974. Meanwhile, Eric Clapton — a friend of Harrison — had fallen in love with Boyd, a problem he catalogued in his 1970 anthem "Layla." Boyd and Clapton later married. They divorced in 1989.
