Whoops, Wrong Winner
On the season finale of Australia's Next Top Model, it was down to two finalists: Kelsey Martinovich and Amanda Ware. Once host Sarah Murdoch announced Martinovich was the winner, the crowd went wild. Martinovich broke down into tears, as the winner was set to receive a Harper's Bazaar cover shoot, a $25,000 campaign with Levi's, $20,000 cash, a car and a trip to New York City. But there was only one problem: Murdoch had announced the wrong winner. Her panicked expression and painful retraction makes the awkwardness so palpable, it's hard to keep watching. She later chalked it up to a miscommunication over her earpiece, but the flub will live on as one of the greatest live-TV gaffes ever.
