Ann Richards
Ann inspired millions of Americans with her tenacity, her spirit, her zeal for creating a fairer and better country — and I proudly count myself as one of the inspired. Ann always said what was on her mind and expressed what was in her heart. In her determination to widen the circle of opportunity and hope for every little boy and girl, she sent ripples across our country. She set an example for everyone who serves the American people, and she set that example with her legendary wit and humor. I will miss Ann dearly, and her legacy will not soon be forgotten.
Clinton is a U.S. Senator
