An aerial view of Bolivia's Beni Biosphere Reserve shows the positive impact of a debt-for-conservation deal. The pioneering trade, cemented in 1987, forgave part of Bolivia's debt, and in exchange, the country agreed to protect a parcel of undeveloped land.
