Toilet of choice to the stars (and to 72% of Japanese households), the Toto is one of the highest-tech toilets around. Features of the hands-free contraption include a heated seat, deodorization and a cleansing jet of water. It even puts the seat lid down for you (a function known as the "marriage saver"). Toto is one of the world's three largest plumbing manufacturers. Its 2006 net sales were $4.2 billion, and the company has 20,000 employees, owns two-thirds of Japan's bathroom market and maintains a presence in 16 countries.
