Think of Wikinvest as Mint for your investment portfolio. The site synchronizes with brokerage houses to import real-time data so users can monitor their performance relative to the market as well as find research on companies. Think of it as a place where user-generated information meets official stats, sort of like Wikipedia plus Yahoo! Finance. This summer, the site became even more sophisticated, announcing plans to launch alerts that will forward breaking news about your investments directly to your e-mail, iPhone and iPad.
