Tiny Fey, Mutual Savings Bank

Like many of us, apparently Tina Fey had a bit of an awkward phase in the mid-1990s. This commercial has Liz Lemon written all over it: the bad hair, the bad clothes. You'll swear it's a scene from 30 Rock — except, it's really one of Fey's first gigs. Back when Fey was a Second City comedienne trying to hit it big, she signed on to sell Mutual Savings Bank's message. But even with the frumpy ensemble and mom hairdo, her comedic timing shines through. And, at least now we know where she got the inspiration for 30 Rock's ever amazing 1-900-OK-FACE commercial.
