Alan Grayson: Coming to a Theater Near You?
Forget Inception, Salt and The Expendables. This summer's biggest blockbuster looks to be on the way from Florida Representative Alan Grayson, whose "When They Lie" ad has all the trappings of an action-movie trailer. The piece opens with dramatic black-and-white flashes of every Republican bigwig from Rush Limbaugh to Sarah Palin. Cue Grayson, who cuts in with his prescription for this conservatastic lineup: "Tell the Republicans, Stop lying!" And then the commercial goes off the deep end. After a frenetic mashup of foreclosure signs, burning effigies, praying children and explosions, the hyperbolic Democrat directs viewers to his website: CongressmanWithGuts.com. We hear James Cameron is on board to direct.
