Gleeks
OMG, Glee is like the best show ever. That is, at least, if you're a self-proclaimed Gleek. Fans of the Fox musical comedy can't get enough of the high school misfits who choose to assert themselves in the show choir. The Web is bursting with fan sites — there's Gleehab, the Gleekdom and Glee(ful). Glee Forum counts down the days, hours, minutes, seconds until the new season premieres. (Sept. 21, guys! Get psyched!) Also online, fans offer arguments for why they should be dubbed "Gleek of the Week." Gleeks heart the term, but it's also one unabashedly pushed by the corporate powers that be. Macy's has just launched a Glee apparel line, and according to Robert Marick of Fox Consumer Products, "Glee fans, or Gleeks, don't just watch the show — they live it."
