Making History

Gerard Baker, the superintendent of the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail, is also a member of the Mandan-Hidatsa Nation. Baker is in charge of the Corps of Discovery II Project, a federal initiative to educate visitors about the expedition and the trail.
