Tragedy

Eleven-year-old Dinesh Vatsya is immobilized by trauma, refusing to speak to anyone. Dinesh was the only surviving member of a family of 19 people who disappeared during a rare cyclone in Kandla, India, 280 miles north of Bombay on June 16, 1998. He survived because he was visiting a neighboring village during the storm.
