Germany's Oscar Loya featuring Dita von Teese with "Miss Kiss Kiss Bang" (2009)
After years of languishing at the bottom of the Eurovision results table, Germany decided to bypass its own citizens in favor of American artists. Broadway singer and California native Oscar Loya supplied the vocals, while Dita von Teese, the burlesque star known for rolling around in an oversize martini glass, provided the gratuitous displays of sexuality. Portraying the song's eponymous Miss Kiss Kiss Bang, she strutted out two-and-a-half minutes into the act wearing a bustier and proceeded to bend over, brandish a whip and straddle a sofa. Fortunately voters remembered that Eurovision is really about the music, and Germany finished a disappointing 20th.
