Ahead of Eurovision, Laka said his eccentric stage performance would depict life in a small Bosnian village. Have pity, then, for the women living on the outskirts of Sarajevo. As Laka sings, four brides hold bouquets and knit while a zany laundress runs circles around her suitor. The lyrics are generally playful, as in the chorus: "I'm going to try to kiss you/ Please act like you don't know why." But they also touch on the controversial by referencing creationism: Laka says that man does not descend from the monkey "but from love." The song finished a respectable 10th.
