"This won't be human — not entirely," says Sarah Polley to her fellow rebel lab-rat Adrien Brody. Breaking the laws of DNA splicing, and of nature, they concoct a female creature named Dren (Delphine Chaneac) with a mind and an agenda of her own. Director Vincenzo Natali's sci-fi thriller is a weird hybrid too, of Alien and Species. R-rated scares await.
