In 2004 British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen interviewed Rooney for his television show, Da Ali G Show. Just like when he becomes his alter egos Borat and Brüno, Cohen conducts the entire interview as Ali G, an uneducated British male who is heavily into American hip-hop culture. Rooney takes one look at his interviewer's baggy clothes and goatee and decides he is having none of it. He corrects Ali G on his grammar and asks what language he speaks. Cohen may be pretending, but Rooney's rudeness is real.
Best line: "I have 50 books on the English language, if you'd like to borrow one."
