Rick Sanchez Tests a Taser
To be a good reporter, you've got to test things out for yourself, right? That's precisely what CNN's Rick Sanchez did in 2005 when he signed up to be shocked by a Taser. He can be seen in this clip from The Daily Show screaming in knee-buckling pain. After the shock, the video cuts to CNN's American Morning hosts, who laugh at Sanchez. "Does it make you a bad person if you laugh? I mean, obviously the guy is writhing in pain," an anchor asks. No, it doesn't. We laughed too. As another CNN news anchor put it, it's painful, yet so entertaining.
