Love got you down? Well, at least you're not Lana Turner. The cinematic vixen married and divorced seven times. At age 19, she eloped with Artie Shaw and endured four months of an allegedly abusive marriage that she would later refer to as "my college education." She wed Joseph Crane in 1942, only to have the marriage annulled because it turned out Crane was still legally married to his previous wife. They tried again in 1943, and this time the marriage lasted a year. Next came a four-year marriage to a millionaire, followed by a four-year marriage to Lex Barker. She divorced Barker in 1957, then hooked up with notorious bad boy (with possible Mob ties) Johnny Stompanato until, during a violent fight between the lovers on April 4, 1958, her 14-year-old daughter Cheryl stabbed him to death. Other Turner husbands include Fred May (two years), Robert Eaton (three and a half years) and Ronald Dante (three years). Turner spent the last 23 years of her life unmarried.
