Nickelodeon's Rugrats landed on the Walk of Fame in 2001 as the popular children's television series celebrated its 10th anniversary. No doubt the show was a wildly successful one. Before rushing to the animated babies' defense, however, consider that this was the same year bona fide Hollywood giant Steven Spielberg got his star. They weren't the first group of cartoon characters to make a literal mark on Tinseltown. But come on there's Rugrats, and then there's The Simpsons, which belongs in a whole other class and certainly not on the same boulevard. In the words of the now immortal Chuckie Finster, "Maybe this isn't such a good idea."
