Matt McAllister gained 100 lb. in four hours when he donned 155 T-shirts to set the Guinness World Record for the most number of T-shirts worn at one time. The Phoenix-based radio host wore shirts sizes small through 10XL, ending appropriately with a "Big Dog" shirt. Unfortunately for McAllister, the YouTube video inspired a slew of imitators, one of whom ultimately bested his record by wearing 227 shirts. McAllister later attempted to reclaim the record on Live with Regis & Kelly by wearing 240 shirts, but he failed. After the 177th shirt, he felt dizzy and was cut out of the shirts to be given oxygen by paramedics. He may have lost the record, but he still reigns on YouTube, as his video has been viewed more than 12 million times since it was posted Sept. 28, 2006.
