When Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt married in 2000, they were the ultimate power couple. Friends was still on the air and Brad Pitt — well, he was Brad Pitt. But things turned sour and in January 2005, the couple separated. By March of that year, they had filed for divorce. The issue, it seems, was Pitt's Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-star, Angelina Jolie. Pitt and Jolie became an item one month after he and Aniston filed for divorce, although all three parties deny any extramarital cheating. Aniston and Pitt's divorce was finalized in October 2005. Three months later, Jolie was pregnant.
The next few years saw an endless stream of tabloid stories about a brokenhearted Aniston, who reportedly ran from man to man, still distraught over her ex-husband. Most of those tear-stained reports were never verified. Aniston and Pitt did keep their distance, however. In fact, their appearance at a Haiti earthquake relief telethon on Jan. 22, 2010, was only the second time the former spouses had been seen at the same event since their breakup.
