Broken Bells

You may not have heard of Broken Bells yet, but you probably know the band's members. Musician-producer Danger Mouse — one-half of Gnarls Barkley and the genius behind The Grey Album, the Beatles–Jay Z mashup — has teamed up with the Shins' lead singer, James Mercer, to create a new band, a new sound and a new album that will drop on March 9, 2010. Will they hit it big like supergroup Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young? Or will they fade away like onetime act the Postal Service? It's too early to tell, but for what it's worth, the album's pretty good.
