Jeff Bridges Is the Dude

In the 379 interviews he's given in the past couple of months, Jeff Bridges has seemingly been locked into the country-music star he played in Crazy Heart. His utterly expected acceptance speech has him channeling another, earlier character: Jeffrey Lebowski, a.k.a. the Dude, from The Big Lebowski. Hey, man, this is great, man. He thanks everyone in his family, everyone in the industry — "and Roger Love, man." It's as if Bridges, like the Dude, has just experienced "the occasional acid flashback."
