'Back-Assward'
When Barbara Walters asked Sarah Palin how she would fix unemployment if President, Palin did not mince words. She said she would cut taxes, which would allow small businesses to keep more of what they earn in order to reinvest and hire more workers. The real problem, Palin said, is forcing health care reform (she used air quotes for the word reform) and energy policy "down their throats." Those policies would ultimately cost small-business owners more to stay afloat, she said, which are "back-assward ways of trying to fix the economy." Walters replied, "You do have a way with words." To which Palin said, "I call it like I see it."
