ABC: Anything but Civil
For a bit player in the present late-night drama, Jimmy Kimmel is making a serious play to steal the show. One of the ABC host's best spots yet: a documentary on the late-night war, shot in the style of documentarian Ken Burns. It details the history of President Jeffrey Zucker, General Jebediah Jay Leno and the young officer Conan O'Brien with the requisite PBS flourishes — crusty professors, old-timey music and all.
