Patton Oswalt

After Mo'Nique in Precious, another top stand-up comic does a fine dramatic turn. In the lowlife parable Big Fan from Robert Siegel (he wrote The Wrestler), Oswalt plays a rabid New York Giants fan. To a mostly shrill film he lends nuance, obsession and dweebish charm.
