Keeping His Focus on a Long-Term Strategy
All the on-the-offense blogging and take-no-prisoners rapid responses from the White House may look like a distracting contest of whack-a-mole against Obama's various opponents. In fact, while the Administration engages in the 24/7-news-cycle battle with 21st century fervor, the President has set a strict example of keeping his own cool head in the long game, with his eye on the prize of his actual goals, rather than just trying to win a round or two for sport or payback.
