If you're like Orange County dentist-turned-lawyer Orly Taitz, you believe Barack Obama didn't really win the 2009 presidential election because, despite official records saying otherwise, he isn't really a natural-born citizen. As leader of the so-called "birther" movement, the Moldovan immigrant, who became a U.S. citizen in 1992, peddles the conspiracy theory that baby Obama was smuggled into Hawaii days after his birth in Kenya, his father's native country. CNN's Lou Dobbs came under fire for hosting Taitz and airing two stories about the birther movement, even after a staffer leaked a memo from a network executive telling Doubs "it seems this story is dead." Though Hawaiian officials have confirmed the authenticity of his birth certificate, birthers like Taitz insist they must be fake and have demanded the original, to no avail. (Naturally, the web has sprouted a "Kenyan Birth Certificate Generator" for good measure.)
