In December 2008, after a year of tabloid speculation, Lindsay Lohan confirmed that she had fallen for 32-year-old British DJ Samantha Ronson. So did that mean LiLo was bisexual? "Maybe. Yeah," she told Harper's Bazaar. Was she a lesbian? "No." Either way, her relationship proved tumultuous. In April the couple split, and Ronson's family looked into getting a restraining order against an unidentified person widely thought to be 23-year-old Lohan. But after Lohan revealed to US Weekly that she felt "so alone," the couple resumed their stormy relationship. One Monday in July, Ronson was throwing Lohan's clothes onto a Beverly Hills street and the couple was calling it quits, but by Thursday the paparazzi were photographing them enjoying a romantic meal together. Lohan recognized the volatility. "I wake up every morning and despite being more in love with Sam than I have been with anyone in the past, in all honesty I don't know if we'll still be together by the time we go to bed," she told a British tabloid. The couple later split. For the time being, at least.
