Respect for the Hat

The Queen of Soul almost stole the spotlight from the newly sworn-in President when she showed up to the Capitol podium on Inauguration Day in a gray felt hat topped off with a giant bedazzled bow. The $179 hat was the work of Mr. Song Millinery in Detroit, where hatmaker Luke Song has been whipping up custom creations for divas like Aretha Franklin for 25 years.
