Jessica Simpson's Dog Becomes Coyote's Bitch
In September, Jessica Simpson, one of those women who are famous for reasons that are not entirely clear and who like to tote little dogs around in handbags, tweeted this message to the world: "My heart is broken because a coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes. HORROR! We are searching. Hoping. Please help!" Sorry, Sweetie: coyotes, especially when hungry, will resort to consuming dogs, though before humans encroached on their land, they normally dined on smaller vermin like mice and voles. Simpson's dog, a caramel-colored Maltipoo, was 5 years old when snatched away. One wonders whether Daisy actually chose the coyote over the handbag.
