Lucky Charms

At 41% sugar, Lucky Charms still qualifies for the food industry's new Smart Choices label, as does every other cereal marketed to kids. On Oct. 15, Connecticut's attorney general described the list of breakfast cereals considered Smart Choices as "alarming" and expressed concern that the labeling system may be "overly simplistic and inaccurate, and ultimately misleading."
