While many corps performances are abstract presentations, storytelling has become increasingly popular in recent years. It's fitting that the Bluecoats a corps named in honor of the police officers in their hometown of Canton, Ohio performed a show called "Criminal." The show is a cops-and-robbers story: dancers begin dressed in orange jumpsuits and stage a prison break; the final act plays out like a bank robbery. In a post-show epilogue, the last robber remains at large, running off the field dressed in an old Bluecoat uniform.
